I am Helen Miller- Owner and proud farmer of Hill Path Flowers. My story is quite simple. I get my love of flowers and plants from my grandmother. On the day of her funeral in 2020 I asked my aunt and uncle if I could lease part of their acreage in Whiteford, MD to start a micro flower farm. To my delight they said yes, minus the lease. Our 25 x 50 plot has grown to 30 x 150. My aunt and uncle are key to the bountiful flower crops since 2021. My career in education keeps me engaged and they often maintain the garden during the week so I can harvest on the weekend.

I create fresh and dried arrangements that are sold at local craft shows and specialty stores. Recently, I designed and created dried floral bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres for a young couple’s wedding. I am thankful for this little plot of land and the future potential it holds.
